CEO NewsletterTe3am,
We have some amazing venues that we will be opening- Santa Clara and Atletico Madrid along with major renovations taking place at Belmont Park, Saratoga Racetrack and the University of Notre Dame. These will all place a spotlight on our enterprise and enable us to showcase the difference of the Centerplate Way.
However, every venue every day has the chance to reinforce that we do indeed Make It Better To Be There. It could be a drink at the bar for two, a table for 10, a party for several hundred or a gala for 15,000. Each of these occasions provides an opportunity for Centerplate to prove that we are the True Defender of Live Events.
It is critical that our collective teams are trained, mentored and encouraged to provide insanely great hospitality. I read a great quote this week, “As you know, go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.” In order for us to win in any situation in which we find ourselves, I would add that “you should move as fast as possible to assemble the army you need.” We are waging our war on mediocre hospitality and how you personally bring your people through to shine is paramount to our continued success.
Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we celebrate and applaud the following hospitality team members who have been recently promoted:
Kyle Shebilske, Kylee Kepa, Sarah Hill, Diana Davis, Jaclyn Turner, Antonieo Jackson, Candy Ferreira, Rodney Womble, Aneury Gil, Shawn Fitzgerald, Ryan Hanlon, David Richichi, Valerie Nierman, Terry Bosquez, Karen Masterson, Robin Wilson, Michael Cozzi, Brianne Boling, Michael Cozzi George Wilbanks Jr., Krista Lewis, Martin Orta, Christine Grady, Dondra Joiner-Jackson, Jackie Matlock, Melissa Mathew, Katie Robertson, Kathy Linnane, Jockie Zackery, Joshua Dixon Sr., Anthony Whiteside, Adriana Navarro Campos, Kalonji Offei, Jesse Selbert, Krystal Arnold, Todd Isoshima, Wayne Tayler, Justin O’Connell, Ellis Smith, Donna Lampson, Greg Dougherty, Amber Clark, Michael Brown, Jason Karsner, Jilliann Cabknor, Jamie Ostermeier, William Peter, Timothy Richard, Dana Brothers, Lindsay Pruniski, Sarah Karnes, Christopher Mohler, Tambrey Cunninham, Dana Brothers, Tina Griffin, Amanda Marsh, Tonya Hodgkin, Trequon, Murphy, Brian Hamilton, Michael Morris, Cristina Manship, Devante McKoy, Cara Chenaille, Vernal Sam, Shamar Bishop, Paige Dillon, Desimon Tumbs, Sarah Rose, Chiquita Hawkins, Joshua Cole, Veronica Carson, Jonathan Payne, Laura Taylor, Irone Hilton, Maxwell Montrell, Yolanda Ford, Leslie Zeringue, Virlyn Williams, Julie Jauregui Lacinda Richie, Yesica Guerra, Bianca Morton, David Lipford, Yousseff Koutout, Indra Canfield, Carlos Thorndike, Juan Santiago, Catherine Wissler, Richard Felts, Malvern Scurlark, Angelia Howard, Sheila Bailey, Deric Grooms, Remie Wood, Patricia Bailey, Calnesha Risin, Samacha Adams, Natalie Walker, Gabrielle Bolden, Donna Miller, Avanna Parent, Kathryn Stromquist, Sheri Christianson, Shaquira Barnum, Brenda Bridges, Stephanie Guth, Tanja Davis, Lanette Lewis, Ralph White, George McClain, Peter Aguillard III, Javier Holmes, Devin Barbarin, Johnny Sparks, Harry Amadeo, Santos Chaparro III, Heidi Spooner, Caitlin Howley, Wayne Pryce, Richard Plowden, Marie Revolus, Lisa Kime, Dontay Hull, Leo Jones, Donald Jones, Robert Neimann, Edgar Solis, Lanese Cotton, Eric Iniguez, Kevin Sayles, Danielle Probert, Erika Beas, Marisa Benton, Meghan Conheeny, Anahi Ramirez Hernandez, Holli Herzogg
Remember that we are not the company of “can’t happen” or “no”. We have to guard against second- rate practices or management. We are the company of “can do” and “yes”. We just need to qualify the expense of the ask and then execute like no one else can.
