“The Storm” Cocktail and “Whiteout Chips”
Centerplate’s team at the MTS Centre helped host the Winnipeg “Whiteout” as the Jets took on the Anaheim Ducks in an exciting and high-energy playoff bid for the NHL’s Stanley Cup.
Our crew got behind the “Whiteout” theme with all-white uniforms and special menu items designed to fuel the frenzy.
General Manager Craig Vidal and team launched the Storm Cocktail, an adult ice cream float with Captain Morgan Dark Rum, Root Beer, and a Jets logo Ice Cream puck in a souvenir cup with the Jets’ slogan “A Storm is Coming” along with “Storm Chips” or crisp
tortillas tossed in cinnamon sugar then drizzled with caramel and vanilla icing.
Despite missing the bid for playoff advancement, the crowds at the MTS Centre saluted everyone’s efforts for a great season.
