In keeping with key issues at the forefront of meeting planner interests, session topics focused on better understanding current technological developments and evolving trends in food and beverages.

Leading industry experts, technology guru and international speaker, Corbin Ball, along with author and food and beverage expert, Corin Hirsch, presented their thoughts and guided conversations among center executives. The goal is to develop related best practices for convention centers and whitepapers for PCMA’s membership.
Participating Centerplate clients included Bob Johnson from New Orleans, Kathie Canning from Orange County, Charles Starks from Nashville, Tom Mazzocco from San Diego, Jim Rooney from Boston, Peggy Daidakis from Baltimore, Naz Sabripour from Pasadena and Craig Lehto from Vancouver. Additionally, leaders from convention centers in Las Vegas, Houston and Toronto offered their perspective on changing trends in the live event industry and its impact to their business.
