CEO NewsletterTeam,
It was a great pleasure to attend the opening 49ers game at Levi’s Stadium last Sunday. The Centerplate team did a magnificent job and I want to tell you that I’m simply proud to represent the extraordinarily talented people that we have in our organization. Between the local staff and all of the traveling managers and culinary support, there are just too many to thank in this message, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention, Zach, Ashley, Mike and Orlando – Wow!
On another note, as we rapidly approach the final quarter of 2014, I ask that each of you double down on your efforts to attain your financial and operational objectives. Our current forecast has us coming up significantly short of budget, but within reach of our year over year results. Please do everything that you can to maximize your returns for the balance of this year while never compromising our quality or services.
Our planning for 2015 has already begun. You will be receiving your budget package from corporate in the coming weeks. It has been my desire to make this process both easier and more meaningful. I am open to suggestions from you for simplifying the process – in the meantime start thinking about your goals and objectives for the coming year and build your strategic plan to attain these initiatives. Please use the Plan on a Page template as your roadmap to success and live up to the expectations you’ve set for yourself and your respective team.
Finally, there are great things happening everywhere in our organization. Our NBD team is in the midst of several major competitive bids and, in fact, has been awarded a great piece of business in Canada, which we will announce once we have signed the contract. Adrian too has been working diligently with his operations team in the UK to firm up our operations. He has been able to successfully renew and re-negotiate several important accounts for us and is planning a trip back “home” in early November with a couple of our important UK clients. They will be visiting a few of our accounts so that they can get a flavor for all of the great hospitality we’ve been providing stateside.
That’s it for now, as I said last week: I’ll see you soon!

I also want to thank the home team! Chef Ryan Stone, Chef Dinari, Clay, Mary, Brad, Randy, Leslie and all the key players that have be working countless hours since last year to make this operation tick. We wouldn’t be successful without our hard work and diligence and I applaud us all on this great accomplishment and am honored to be bumping shoulders with you all here at Levis Stadium
