While the goals for 2018 were beginning to take shape early in the year, the loss of our Accounting Manager at the end of July set the department back substantially. Losing a team member, in addition to adjusting to the new “calendar month” accounting format and accelerated closing timelines, have had a huge impact on the team. Our new Accounting Manager was hired in late December, and the focus will once again be to rebuild the team, re-evaluate the division of duties, and come out of 2019 in a much stronger position than we were in at the end of 2018.
