Last month, the Centerplate team at Celtic Park hosted more than 97,000 fans in nearly back-to-back powerhouse match-ups–including the first visit by the England team to face Scotland in 15 years.
The first match, held on November 14, welcomed more than 56,000 fans to see Scotland vs. The Republic of Ireland.
Just four days later, Celtic Park again hosted a major match with more than 41,000 fans who downed more than 10,000 pies and 3,500 hot dogs while Scotland took on England.
Both games were a huge success, thanks to the team at Celtic and support from Steven Beattie, Darren Burey and the rest of the Stadium of Light team. Thanks are also in order for Terry Buxton, Simon McMain, Mike Davies and Paula Street who came up for the England game.
