Mookie Betts (Boston Red Sox) – After never experiencing a hitless streak lasting more than eight at-bats in 520 regular season at-bats, Mookie Betts – winner of the American League batting title in 2018 – was mired in an 0-13 streak in Game 5. Then, with the Red Sox holding a one-run lead, he smashed a home run off Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw. It was his first career postseason home run. Slump over.

Steve Pearce (Boston Red Sox 1st Baseman) played for 7 different teams in both the American League and National League. He Played for all the teams in the American League East (Red Sox, Yankees, Rays, Blue Jays, and Orioles). Pearce was acquired by the Red Sox in June. Pearce could have thought this was another stop in his career but did not give up on his dream. He hit .333 in the World Series (4-for-12) with three home runs and 8 RBIs and is the fifth player in Red Sox history with a multi-homer game in the World Series winning him the 2018 World Series MVP.

Our Unit, 61831 – Hard Rock Stadium, held a Halloween decorating contest and I just wanted to recognize my Staffing Department for their unbelievable creativity and teamwork!

Operations – Driving the employee shuttle and a skeleton on the ground
Retail – Zombies walking toward the pumpkin patch
Angel wings over the Centerplate Full Moon – represents a staff member who is no longer with us from a couple of months ago
Culinary – In the orange coffin under the tree
GM – Grim Reaper at the entrance to Gate 7 (one of our parking entrance gates)
