Global Event Hospitality Provider Awarded 22 Venues for Iconic Summer Games

Centerplate announced the finalization of its contract to operate food and beverage services to athletes and guests of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games to take place this summer.

Centerplate was awarded the contract to provide hospitality to 22 venues across Ontario, serving 12 spectator venues and 10 athlete training facilities, following a competitive bid process. Winning all of the venues for which it bid, the company will offer catering and retail food and beverage and coordinate local supplier operations.

In order to celebrate the games and their host locations across Ontario, Centerplate plans to work with the TO2015, the Organizing Committee for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games, to hold interviews with prospective local partners in January and February, with decisions to come in March.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome athletes and guests to Ontario for this year’s games, and are committed to making it better to be there,” said Ashton Sequiera, Regional Vice President of Centerplate. “We have a great team in place, and lots of experience hosting world class events, ranging from Super Bowls to events in Vancouver for the 2010 Olympic games.”
