As part of our ongoing compliance with The Affordable Care Act (ACA), the new regulations require employers to provide all active employees (regardless of benefit eligible status) with a written notice describing the public Marketplaces (referred to as Exchanges in the law). If employees have questions as to why they have received the notice, please advise them that it is intended to assist them as they evaluate options for themselves and their families and that the notice provides some basic information about the new Marketplace and employment based health coverage offered by Centerplate.

  • Notices for all employees will be mailed from the Greenville Support Center to the employee’s home addresses beginning September 30th.
  • In addition, employers must provide the notice to all employees who are hired after October 1, 2013, within 14 days after their start date. Please begin to include this notice as part of your new hire packets beginning October 1, 2013 for all employees hired and/or rehired.
  • A copy of the notice is attached and will also be posted on Centerplate Spark later this week.  Any returned mail will be sent to the employee’s home unit for distribution.
